Medical mission in Looc, Batangas
SM Foundation, the social good arm of the SM Group, recentlyconducted two successful medical missions in the municipalities of Looc and Ibaan, Batangas.
The initiative, which aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to vulnerable communities, served approximately 700 patients.
During the two-day event, residents of Looc and Ibaan received a wide range of free healthcare services. These included medical and dental check-ups, X-rays, and electrocardiogram (ECG) tests performed inside SM Foundation’s state-of-the-art mobile clinic. Additionally, patients underwent blood chemistry tests, as well as screenings for sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, and hemoglobin levels.

The medical team, consisting of doctors, nurses, and volunteers, worked tirelessly to attend to the healthcare needs of the patients.
The recent medical mission was a social good collaboration between the Batangas Provincial Office, the local government units of Ibaan and Looc, JCI Lipa, MX3 Natural Supplements’ DMIRIE Foundation, Philippine Dental Association-Lipa City, and BDO Network Bank.
